I’m still alive, I just haven’t had the time nor interest in updating lately. After reading Trine’s blog I’ve decided I really should take the step to update, as she’s been so kind to put a link on her blog to mine.

Yesterday it was exactly 2 months til I am to leave for Australia, which is a fairly frightening though. I’m really looking forward to a new chapter in my life with the new school and (hopefully) new friends, but leaving behind old routines with friends etc, can be a bit of a pain in the butt.

Lately I’ve been working alot to earn some cash to survive and save, though the saving didn’t go the way I planned. It’s going to suck having to leave the job as I’ve really started to enjoy it. I feel that I’m doing alright and I know what I’m suppose to do most of the time so that gives me a bit of an energy boost. The people I work with are just a delight talking to as well, so it’s going to be hard leaving it.

Anyway, I’ll update more later on when I actually have some interesting things to talk about :p

A small update…

Well, it’s been a long time since I have written on this blog, but some nice things has happened to me the past month.

First, I have finished my 3D film project for school, so I am now officially done at the Noroff University. It was a nice and hard run, but eventually I finished.

Second, I have now FINALLY passed my IELTS test (english test for Deakin University) so I have now gotten an acceptance letter from Deakin University. I will be travelling on January 25th of 2009. I’M GOING TO AUSTRALIA!

Third, I’ve started a new job.. Well, it’s not exactly a NEW job, but a new position at the same place as I worked. The work is different though, it’s alot of fun and it’s very physical, but I do enjoy physical things every now and then.

The animation is just around the corner…

So, today I finished rigging my last character. So far my Bear, Dwarf and the Dwarven King is rigged so now I have to finish off my last scene so I can make a block to see how everything is going to be.
After that it’s animation time, I got rougly 4 weeks left so I need to step up and continue my hard work.
I’ve been really good lately, I stopped playing WoW in order to get more school work done, and I’ve only spent like 3 hours on GTA since I got it in my mail day after launch. That’s not bad if you ask me who’s a gaming addict!
Now, if only I could find a girl then my life would be on the right track.

So, today I got my copy of the (most likely) “GoTY” and it looks sweet. To bad I won’t be able to play it much until I’ve finished my school assingment. As for school, the assignment is coming along nicely. I’ve rigged my dwarf, the bear and I’ve started on my second dwarf. Once that is done I’m ready to do a pre-visualization, if I have time. After that it’s pure animation, YEAH BABY!

I know I haven’t been a good boy and updated this blog in a long time, but I haven’t had the time nor reason to do so, but I’m sorry. I’ll try to be better from now on.

Ding! I just turned 22..

Can’t say I feel any different, I’m a bit happier, but that might be because I’m getting money.

My friend (smallhaus) told me to update the blog, but the truth is, I haven’t had anything interesting to say in a while and nobody ever reads it anyway xD

Sickness and joy, both at the same time!

So I became sick on the Saturday night with a fev… Saturday night fever oO

Anyway, I became sick and went to the doctor and she decided that I had something that was going around.. you don’t say?

Well, I’ve been bored out of my mind the last couple days while laying in my bed watching tv and everything else you do when you’re ill, but today I got a pleasant surprise.

I sent my xbox 360 to the repairs in the Czech Republic on friday the 25th and today I was awakened by a noisy bell. Outside the door was a man from DHL and he had my 360 fully repaired and wanted me to sign some stuff, so I was kinda in shock as I wasn’t expecting that for another month.

However, I signed it and booted the 360 and went back to bed while watching a movie.. Aaah, finally I have something to do while being sick.

Been quite boring since my 360 was my only dvd player

Assassin with style?

So, I just watched the new Hitman movie today and I was really expecting the worst. Having enjoyed all of the Hitman games, I did see some some flaws in the story of the movie, but all in all I found it quite cool. I’m not one of those who over-analyze movies, and I see them for what they are, so that might be one of the reasons I found it quite good.

I really don’t see why the critics would give the movie such a bad score to be honest and their reason was that it had alot of violence, it lacked a plot, and it was a too serious tone in the movie.

These critics have obviously never played the game since they’re saying it’s a too serious tone. Agent 47 is suppose to be the most serious person ever (Perhaps after Queen Elizabeth). About the plot; I saw it, but I guess it could have been better.

Hmm, I also saw another movie earlier this week which I enjoyed alot more, Beowulf. Being a fan of 3D I was amazed at how good SOME of the characters in the movie looked. There were obviously some of the characters who looked like plastic, but eh, I don’t care!

Girl buzzer?

They really need to come up with some type of “Girl Buzzer” ™ cause how on earth can you know if you have a shot on a girl or not?

Today at work I met this beautiful girl (WAY out of my league) and I sat there trying to ignore her, but to no use.

In the end she started talking to me and I was all cuddly all of a sudden. I started saying things that sounded funny in my own head, which in fact seemed to be funny cause she was smiling and laughing all the time. However, I thought “My god, is it possible that I have a chance on this… being?”

Well, as the coward I am I didn’t dare to ask her out nor did I even think of asking for her phonenumber. Now, if they had this kind of buzzer that would shake your noodle off every time a girl was interested in you, this problem would be solved!

Guess I have to get starting on the drawing board now, eh?

Work in progress (and a new mobile)..

A couple of days since my last post, but I’ve been busy working on one of my last assignments. This assignment was about a character who has to interact with a cliff (mountain cliff f.ex.) and I didn’t want to do something like walking over, jumping over etc. as I’m sure alot of other people have done the same thing in this assignment.

I chose to do something new, parachute jumping

So far it looks fun, and I’m still on the animation stage, but it’s not alot of animation which is required, but I Have to make it seem like the character is alive.

Other news, I’ve bought a new mobile phone, the Sony Ericsson W910i, cost me 3500kr.. However, I can’t use it until January 25th as I’m awaiting my new SIM card.
